Jiji, Kenya’s online marketplace, has launched a free online course bank dubbed Jiji Academy to help young Kenyans turn business ideas into profitable ventures and drive traffic to its site.

The official launch of Jiji Academy took place at Mount Kenya University, Thika, marking the start of a partnership between Jiji and MKU to drive uptake of the course among students and the wider youth community. The collaboration will be coordinated through the Office of the Academic Director.
The courses, available online at no cost, are self-paced and deliver practical lessons. One course dubbed Zero to Profit” offers participants real-world skills to help them build, brand, and manage a business from the ground up. The course covers every step in the entrepreneurial journey, from finding a niche to promoting products, ensuring legal compliance, and building customer trust.
With over 22 million Kenyans now connected to the internet via mobile devices, Jiji is bridging the gap through a fully digital learning experience.
