Airtel Money has integrated its mobile wallet with streaming platform Showmax, allowing customers to pay for subscriptions directly from their wallets.
The new integration enables users to sign up, renew or activate Showmax subscriptions instantly, offering a convenient payment option as demand for digital entertainment rises during the festive season.
Airtel Money said the move aligns with its strategy to simplify digital lifestyles while expanding payment options across entertainment, e-commerce and everyday transactions.
“Through this partnership with Showmax, we are delivering a fast, safe and convenient way for customers to stay connected and entertained,” said Anne Kinuthia-Otieno, managing director of Airtel Money Kenya. “This collaboration reinforces our continued investment in enhancing customer experiences through high-impact digital innovations.”
Nzola Miranda, managing director of MultiChoice Kenya, said the integration removes payment barriers for subscribers and improves access to both local and international content.
“By integrating Showmax with Airtel Money, we are making it easier for customers to pay for their favourite entertainment and enjoy Showmax Entertainment, Showmax Entertainment Mobile and Showmax Premier League Mobile,” he said.
The partnership is for all Showmax packages, with payments completed directly from their mobile wallets.
