Qatar Airways has once again been named the ‘World’s Best Airline’ by the prestigious international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax, retaining the top position for a record-breaking ninth time.
Qatar Airways says the achievement reaffirms its steadfast commitment to delivering excellence across every touchpoint of the travel experience.
In addition to securing the airline industry’s highest accolade, Qatar Airways was also awarded for World’s Best Business Class, Best Airline in the Middle East, Best Business Class Airline Lounge for its Al Mourjan Lounge at the Garden at Hamad International Airport) and Skytrax Five-Star Airline recognition.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “Being named the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax for the ninth time is an extraordinary honour. This recognition is far more than an award, it is a celebration of the passion, precision and purpose that defines who we are as an airline.
Al-Meer said the airline was equally proud to have won in the various categories listed above.
