Vivo Energy Unveils 336th Shell Service Station in Nairobi

Vivo Energy , the company behind the marketing and distribution of Shell-branded fuels and lubricants in the country, has inaugurated its 336th Shell service station in the bustling Imara Daima neighborhood of Nairobi.

Strategically located along the high-traffic Mombasa Road corridor, the new outlet is part of the company’s broader mission to enhance fuel access and customer convenience across Kenya.

The newly opened service station offers more than just refueling services. It features a Shell Select convenience store, a Java House café for food and beverages, Goodlife Pharmacy for health and wellness needs, and a Purpink gift shop, with plans underway to bring in additional commercial partners to enrich the customer experience.

Speaking during the launch event, Vivo Energy Kenya Managing Director Peter Murungi said the new outlet symbolizes the company’s commitment to innovation, quality service, and continued investment in the Kenyan market. He also introduced the station’s premium offerings, including the newly enhanced Shell FuelSave and Shell V-Power fuels.

“We are proud to announce that this station will feature our latest Shell FuelSave formulation, which offers motorists up to 15 extra kilometers per tank. Additionally, Shell V-Power remains our flagship performance fuel, delivering superior engine protection and lower emissions,” said Murungi.

The launch was attended by top Vivo Energy executives, including Executive Vice President for Retail and Commercial Arnaud Guichard, who highlighted the significance of the milestone in the company’s growth trajectory.

“Shell has become a trusted brand by adapting to changing customer expectations while maintaining a strong promise of quality and reliability. Reaching 336 stations is a clear demonstration of our strategy to identify high-potential locations and grow with our customers. This expansion cements our leadership in the energy retail sector,” Guichard remarked.

Vivo Energy continues to focus on expanding its presence in both urban and peri-urban areas across Kenya, particularly along key transport and trade corridors. Beyond providing high-quality fuel products, the company’s expansion drive also contributes to job creation, local enterprise development, and improved mobility for Kenyan consumers and businesses alike.

The Imara Daima station is expected to serve thousands of motorists and commuters daily, further enhancing the company’s mission to provide accessible, efficient, and environmentally-conscious fueling solutions.
