Yellow Card’s global expansion earns it second consecutive Money20/20 award

Yellow Card’s push beyond emerging markets is gaining international recognition, with the stablecoin infrastructure company winning the Diamond category at the 2026 Money Awards in Las Vegas.

The award, presented on October 18 during Money20/20 USA, gives the company consecutive wins at the event after taking the Grand Prix in the Payments category in 2025.

The recognition comes as Yellow Card broadens its business beyond cryptocurrency transactions into corporate treasury and international payments, targeting banks, fintechs and multinational companies.

Over the past year, the company has secured $40 million in strategic funding, expanded into Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America, and established an anti-money laundering regulatory affiliation in Switzerland.

It has also introduced Global Accounts, a service that allows businesses to open named accounts in US dollars, British pounds and euros while accessing local payment networks in more than 190 countries.

The platform is available through an application programming interface or Yellow Card’s Treasury Portal, giving businesses a way to manage international payments and treasury operations through a single infrastructure provider.

The expansion marks a shift in the company’s ambitions from building financial access across emerging markets to serving businesses operating across multiple financial jurisdictions.

“When we started the business almost ten years ago, we had big ambitions, but we couldn’t have imagined just how far this journey would take us,” said Chris Maurice, CEO and Co-Founder of Yellow Card.

The company was also included in Fortune’s inaugural Crypto Innovators list in June, adding to a year of international recognition and expansion.

CTO and Co-Founder Justin Poiroux said the award recognised the technology and engineering work behind the company’s cross-border payments infrastructure.

Yellow Card supports more than 50 currencies and counts Visa and Western Union among its customers.

Money20/20 describes the Diamond category as its highest award, recognising what it considers the most transformative achievement in global fintech.
